I didn't know Mary Anne, but taught along side of Harry for a year, my first and only year of teaching at the Point School, in 1963 (Our first child was born in June, and policy didn't allow me to be in the classroom after April).

Harry was so supportive and a great mentor. I never had the privilege of knowing Mary Anne, but she sounds to have been an amazing lady, and I also have no doubt they are together again, after such a long absence, in God's heavenly kingdom..

Please accept my condolences.

Loved Mary Anne. She was so fun at OCHS. At lunch we would sit in the kitchen and drink coffee and gab about everything. She loved her family and was so proud of each and everyone of them. I will always remember your Mom and so thankful I shared a part of my life with her.
Sincerely

So sorry to hear of her passing, but hearing her name again brings wonderful memories of my youth at the Point School and growing up in the Village. The Buteuxs, Harry and Mary Anne, were wonderful people, educators and role models for all us kids growing up in the Village. Thoughts and prayers go out to Andy, Steven and the girls, with thanks for sharing your parents with so many of us. One can't help but to simile, thinking that after so many years apart, Mr. and Mrs. Buteux are together again through their faith and God's promise of life after death. God's speed Mrs. Buteux
