Pops,
You had such an impact on me. You imparted your dry humor and ability to feel everything and feel it deeply, knowing that's okay. I went into mental health after hearing your stories and the impact you had on others. I knew this was coming but not having you here is still hard. Just knowing you were here and having your presence was such a good feeling. I loved all the times together, including the trips and sleepovers with just the 3 of us. You were always so close when I was growing up, both physically and emotionally. Like I've said many times, you were a father figure that I admired. Give Grandma all my love. You'll be missed, but I will try my best to honor the lessons you taught me. Love you Pops.

Sending my deepest condolences to all of his loved ones. I had the privilege of knowing Duane the 3 years I worked at brookdale and he made such a positive impact in my life. Any bad day I was having he would come in the dining room and instantly put a smile on my face with talks about becoming a nurse along with anything else we could talk about. He was truly the kindest soul and I'll miss him and his humor so much.
