Prayers for the family. My husband, our dogs and I were just up in New Hartford on June 26th to bury my mom's ashes (Nat Sparks). We were talking about the great times my parents had with the Dicksons. Also, how Ken taught my husband how to make some good alcoholic beverages using a blender. The memories will be treasured.

We were so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. He called us just a few months ago after running across our name and phone number on a scrap of paper he had in his desk! (It has been years since we lived in Utica). What a delightful conversation we both had with Ken. His sense of humor, happy personality during the phone call was the Ken we both knew from working with him during our GE/AESD days. He spoke so proudly of his sons and grandsons and of the love he had for Nola and how many years they had together. We consider ourselves lucky to have met him. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

What a loss.
It seems like Ken was always there and always there for me and my family. My memories of Ken and Ken with Mickey go back decades. They are all positive memories. A great track record. At first Ken was just a good friend of my parents Gil and Ellie Gould and a father to Stan and Rick. He and Mickey were especially helpful when my mother had a depression event. They took care of her while she recovered. Later I worked at GE, briefly on the same project as Ken. I subbed in his noon bridge game a few times. Great fun - Ken had an imaginative approach that was intriguing. We even played basketball together on the Tabernacle Baptist team. Ken, my dad Gil and all the sons played. At Tabernacle Ken was always there for good advice and support. Frequently he would pull out a little notebook to check a schedule date or look up a contact. I admired his discipline in maintaining the process.
I could go on and on but the point is Ken was a great human being.
I and Joanne will miss him greatly.

To Nola and family:

Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Ken and Nola when they moved to Acacia Village. I shall miss his smile and friendly demeanor. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
