Jack Reader, you will be missed by all!. My deepest sympathy to his family. He was
a fine Irish lad, with abundant laughter, and great times in Boston. Lived for his children, loved life, and fought his illnesses with fortitude. My prayers are always with you and the family.

I am sorry. I know the words written are inadequate and incomplete and you, the family left behind must know that you are all in my daily prayers, thoughts and I send you all my heartfelt sympathies. You and your family will continue to be in my heart, mind as well as my daily prayers. Knowing Jack for as long as I have, particularly back in the Boston years, he struck me as one who never gave up, was dauntless in his goals to try his hardest regardless of the circumstances. He was a man devoted to his children and he essentially lived the fight for them. He would not want us letting him pass without the remembering his laughter, tears, and times of life celebration. God Bless you Jack and his family left behind. He was indeed a good friend!

On behalf of the Bradley family, our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jack. Jack put up a heroic fight emphasizing to me how much he wanted to be there for his children. He was positive through out the struggle and never complained. I have known Jack since our Annapolis days and we have been friends for 47+ years.
He is a good man and will be genuinely missed. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

I will always remember that big Irish-Catholic heart from our days at the Naval Academy, and then again in the early 80s when he was with EF Hutton in Boston. He is now with our Naval Academy Senior Chaplain, John Cardinal O'Connor. I can just imagine the Irish stories between them!! Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

Jack, we will always remember that smile and laugh. It was a pleasure being in your company for 4 years at USNA.
