Condolences

Sincerest sympathies. I knew John during his PD days. Real likeable guy who always had a smile.

John and Mary went on a visit with my husband and I , to see my sister Helen and Family near D.C. . That was in 2002, just after the bombing. My Brother-in -Law arranged a personal tour of the Pentagon. John was ok sitting outside the Pentagon while waiting clearance . He was saying--,, There goes a Cpt,, Colonel-- That was a General !!! But John and Mary had the GRAND tour. Well my Brother in law gave us the tour -- we met a 4 star General, and we saw a WAR ROOM!!!!!! While there for 1 week we also visits a few civil war battle fields . It was a fun Time with Mary and Pop.

Sorry for your loss. My dad, Mike LaPaglia, and John were good friends. I remember hearing all their stories when we were kids.
They are hopefully together again. May he rest in peace.

So very sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with John as an intern at CNY Cable TV many years ago. He was a mentor in ham radio and scuba diving; he welcomed me into his home for dinner with his family, whom he cherished; and always displayed genuine friendship, honesty and integrity. May God bless his family at this difficult time.

Ham Radio operator(WA2DOY). Spent many an evening talking to John on the radio. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. My brother Mike and John were like brothers. I will never forget our hunting trips together. We would laugh so hard and enjoy the companionship we had. So sorry for John's Family . He was one in a million. Please accept my condolences. I am away on vacation and will not be able to attend John's services.
