To all of John's family, I recognized his joy filled face and thought where did I know him from! Of course, Lennon's. I was just a periodic customer, but he always made me feel so welcome and would always do whatever he could to attend to me in my visit. I pray for peace for all of you.

Dear Carol and Family,
I came upon John’s obituary by chance while looking up one for a friend of mine. When I was volunteering at Faxton hospital last week, I thought of John and how I had not seen him for a while and I hoped all is well. I am sorry to hear of his passing, but is comforting to know that he led such a good and honorable life. That’s how I think of him ascan honorable man just like my husband Jerry, who will be gone 21 years on July 26. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather. You always knew that his family came first and he loved them and was very proud of them. I know you will have hundreds of memories of him to think of daily. God bless all of you.

John's family, My condolences to you all. John was a great guy that I went to WCS with. John was a friendly, fun loving guy who was hard working and loved his family so much. May the Lord be with you as you grieve and remember all the happy times. God bless, Bill and Nannette Britt.

We are so sorry for your loss. We have another engagement tonight and are not able to come to the wake but we are keeping your family in our prayers. We know that John is in a better place and hopefully he has found his Kiwanis brothers sharing stories. We are sure Jim (dad) has found John and is showing him the way.

Carol, John, & Laura,

Sitting here selfishly maneuvering around my own emotions with this and trying to find the right words. But the truth is, John Jr. or Mr. Warner would be one of the first people I’d actually feel comfortable going to for advice about what to say here.

I was never just “Sara’s brother” to Mr. Warner and his family. Always treated me like one of your own right from the beginning. The list of his great deeds, advice, and just general daily behaviors of a saint is infinite. I am sorry for your loss. And sad that he is gone. But I am forever grateful for how much inspiration I was able to gain during his time here. And even more grateful that he instilled and left all of his best qualities as a person inside of you three. There’s truly nobody better to carry them on ❤️

Dear Carol and family,
Am so sorry for your loss. You and John and our gang go way back, camping, Fourth Lake, weddings. John was truly a great guy, easy going, who was always so kind. Wayne and I and John loved sailing wherever there was water to launch our boats. The jeweler for all of us including the next generation. He converted my original engagement ring from Wilcox into a beautiful ring for my son, Brad, to give to his wife many years ago when they became engaged. I know he will be sorely missed by all your family. My sincere condolences in his passing.

John was our go to guy for many many years at Lennons. He always came up with the perfect piece of jewelry we were looking for. My son who lives in The Boston area always came back here to buy his wife’s jewelry. We were never disappointed.
Our most sincere condolences go out to his family at this most difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of John. I always enjoyed his visits when he came into my office, as we enjoyed many great conversations. We also enjoyed his company up in Old Forge as well. He was a great guy and true gentleman. God bless John and all of you.

To the Warner family.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have many many fond memories of Mr Warner, and family... I remember when he put log steps on the path between our houses, to help us get back and forth, as we cut through your yard.
Always helping with something, he will be missed. Cherish the memories, hug each other. ????
Love

John and the Warner family were and are my closest and most beloved relatives. As an Army brat and later spending years on active duty myself, we were seldom within easy traveling distance, but whenever possible we tried to gather with the them and were always welcomed warmly and treated like we’d never been gone. John, being a few years senior to me, was always someone I looked up to and I felt his wisdom and kindness in everything he did. I wish we’d been physically closer, but the distance and long absences seemed not to matter, and our connection remained firm. If a man is judged by the family from which he comes, John was an outstanding and singularly kind, thoughtful human. To me, he was my cousin John, and I loved him.
