Dear Diane & Family,
I was saddened to hear of John’s passing.
It was always a delight to be in his company. I remember your beautiful wedding day. The smiles on both your faces lit up the room.
I know this is a very difficult time for you but I am so glad you have your family to be by your side.
Please accept our deepest sympathy for you & your family.

Dear Diane and family,

Please accept my sincere sympathies for the passing of your beloved John. As a neighbor for many years, you all became a part of my family. John always had a great sense of humor and twinkle in his eyes as he told you a story. We did enjoy a warm and caring neighbor hood. I never did find that "hood" feeling again after leaving. Sending my love and prayers to you all. Sincerely, Linda( Spellman) Flihan

I was so deeply saddened this morning to learn of the passing of my childhood friend John. While not in touch much over the last years, I always considered him a special friend. I am going back to our days as toddlers and little kids on St. Jane Ave ... when John-John and I played kids games on the big side yard of the Hilton home. Those were good days, days when I called him my best friend - and all the Hiltons have been wonderful friends to our family. My thoughts and prayers are with Diane, Rick and all the Hiltons.
Rest in Peace, blessings on you my special friend.

Diane and Family,
Today's news of John's passing is incredibly sad and I offer my condolences to his family and friends. I must admit, after the sadness, came a smile. Throughout our time at LeMoyne College and the years that followed, "Chip" Hilton was a "piece of work!" Smart, industrious and always finding the fun and humor wherever he went, he was a memorable roommate. When last we spoke a few years ago, it was the love of his family that dominated the conversation. We say goodbye to a good man. RIP Chip.

The Hilton’s are family to us. We cherish the memories over the decades at our beloved Moffitt Beach camps. Out deepest condolences to Di and all the Hilton’s. John’ will always be Uncle Fun to all who had the fortune to know him. I know I already miss his humor, our conversations on about our Yankees and the cocktail cruises on the lake.
