Jerry and I are shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. He was a good friend to us all at Gingerbread Bake Shop. Always a kind word and always concern for how we were all doing. We always looked forward to having a good laugh with him. So very sorry to the entire Kearns family. With our deepest sympathy, Jerry and Jeannine Hoban and family.

Joan and Girls
John was a friend of Al's brother Jewell in College and he became our tenant on Genesee Street in New Hartford for many years with Alliance Bank. He was a great guy always smiling always joking around. He wanted us to put in a putting Green next to the building so he could practice during lunch! He will be greatly missed, our thoughts and prayers are with all his family at this time.

I worked with John at SBU and he was one of my favorite co-workers. He taught me so much about selling and made me laugh on a daily basis. He helped Jerry and Henry open their Gingerbread Bakery, which coincided with his love for doughnuts. The world is a sadder place without him. My deep condolences to his whole family.

To all John's family and loved ones

We are so saddened to hear the news of John's passing .

As we have moved from the area ,our recent meetings with John were rare but we remember him so well. His sense of humor and ability to make us laugh were always so welcome.

May God grant you all peace and comfort in the knowledge that he is in heaven with our Lord and will have eternal life in happiness.

We will happily donate $50 to the Abraham House in Rome in his name in lieu of flowers

Love from South Carolina

Joan and family,
So very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a dear colleague and friend. He always made me laugh. He affectionately referred to me as "Hero". I will always remember John laughing with his infectious smile, eating from a 5 lb. bag of peanut M & M's. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family during these difficult times. May God hold John in the palm of his hand!
