I remember Mr. Ligas as one of those busy neighborhood dads that was always quick with a smile and a pat on the head. The kind of guy you felt better being around.
Heartfelt condolences.

Diane and sons, wives, grandchildren we wish we could be with you at this time.,but, age and distance is a major problem. The “ marines” & wives grieve with all of you at this time. We all have shared a very special bond these last 60+ years .it’s so hard for all of us to face the fact that our numbers are dwindling. The memories we’ ve shared of vacations etc remain in our hearts forever.John was one of the few & proud marines that made the corp what it is today. We pray for all of you at this time. . I’m sure those in heaven are “ having a beer” and reminiscing all the good times they shared together on this s earth. 5 of them were one special loyal breed. We love you all and feel your pain at losing John.
