Obituary

Utica – Jessica Lynn DeCarr, 34, of Utica, left us to go home to our Lord on February 13, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

She was born August 16, 1985, in Utica, a daughter of Leon and Dawn (DeCarr) Lenaghen. Jessica worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Heritage Nursing Home. She enjoyed singing, dancing and drawing in her free time.

In addition to her parents, Jessica is survived by four children, Javi, Jahnasia, Nazariah and Zion, and their father, Michael Williams; three sisters, Heather Wasielewski, Mercedes Conley, and Brittany Tyler; two aunts, Ada Noble and Doris Grimes; close cousins Deanna Riely, Leon Janicki, Amanda Janicki, Samantha Covey, David Noble and Cody Kennedy; and special friends Karrianna Patterson and Ashley Lacomb. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard DeCarr.

The family would like to thank the ED and ICU staffs at St. Elizabeth Medical Center for their kind efforts.

Jessica’s funeral will be Saturday at noon (12:00 p.m.) at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 1123 Court Street, Utica, NY. Calling hours will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Messages of sympathy may be left at www.fwefh.com.
