Dear Gretchen,
Sam and I wanted you to know we are thinking of you and sending peaceful thoughts your way. I remember fondly playing tennis with you and Jim in TC a few years back. You two were some of the first folks Sam and I met at the Beach Villas and you both were very welcoming. Take care of yourself.

Mrs. Balch, Carolyn, and family
So sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Balch was an amazing, heartwarming, and caring man. I don't believe that I and my siblings would have been at Berkshire were it not for his kindness and understanding. “Big Jim” lit up whatever room he entered with his warm smile and hearty laugh. I will keep the family in my prayers. Deepest condolences,

Mike,

I'm so sorry to read of the passing of your father. He was one of the adults that always made me feel like I was important at Berkshire as a PG. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Always enjoyed Jim's company at the Sadaquada, he was a man of good cheer and keen insight, and his sense of humor was a delight. I'm sure he'll be a scratch golfer in the hereafter, they must have a course there that's par 88! RIP and condolences to the family.
