In Memory of James Bryan Yates

Obituary

James Bryan Yates, 73, of New Hartford died November, died November 19, 2022, at home.

He was born February 18, 1949, in Utica, son of the late James Vincent and Nora Schultz Yates and graduated from New Hartford School in 1967. James married Carol Lewis in 1974.

He was a long-haul truck driver for 30 years, and for the last 5 years he worked for Securitas Security at Collins Aerospace.

James loved his camp at the Adirondack Lakeside RV Park on Hinckley Lake

He is survived by his wife Carol; his sons David and Daniel Yates; his canine companion J. J.; his brothers in law and sister-in-law, Sue and Bob Philo, Martin and Gail Lewis, John Lewis and Linda Nelson and several nieces and nephews.

The wishes to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the New Hartford Police Department, Edward Ambulance and the New Hartford Fire Department for all of their help with James.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton.
