Condolences

I am one of those students whose life was enriched by this amazing lady. Her desk was always covered in books and papers . Her love of literature was contagious, and she was the kindest teacher I ever encountered. Many years later when I became a teacher I referred back to her example as a deeply caring human being who took the time to show a genuine interest in her students lives -a blessing to anyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

We were in the UFA Class of 1949 with Helen. She was a wonderful person. May she rest in peace.

Stan and family, I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful person and an excellent teacher. I am lucky that I had the chance to study with her and learn from her.

She was unforgettable. I graduated from New Hartford high School and 1975 and I still remember her. I never knew her extensive background but one could always sense her intellect. My condolences to the family.
