So sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Greschen's smile - That is what I will remember and miss. I have so many memories of my cool older cousin hangin' out at Oxford Road and Overbrook Crest. It is sad that lives diverge - as ours did, but whenever we did catch up, it was as if we were always together.
Greschen truly fought long and hard for her family she held so dear.
And now we say our goodbyes.

I worked at Village Florals for a brief time and had the pleasure of meeting Greschen. She was certainly a happy go lucky and kind woman. She always had a smile on her face! My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

Greschen was one of the nicest people I knew in New Hartford. Although I did not know her well, she always greeted me with a smile and aimed to please, at the Village Floral Shop and also at her Overbrook residence garage sales. I knew Karin, one of our daughter's classmates. What a beautiful tribute to your mother! People will miss Greschen. With tears in my eyes, I shall miss her kindness and her genuine way... May God bless your family and keep those special moments of life which you spent together, close to your heart. She will always be with each of you, and one day, we will all be together again.

Katie, Karin and Ken - you have my sincerest heart-felt sympathies on the passing of your mom. I have some of my fondest memories of sitting on your porch on Hillside Ave., playing monster ball, manhunt and generally hanging out as your mom was one of the neighborhood mothers watching over us and generally holding it all down. There were two or three key houses on the block where we all went to spend time as friends and neighbors and your house was one of them. It was such a crucial time and place for me growing up, that even as recently as a few weeks ago, I got lost in a haze of nostalgia as I recalled those days spent playing, running, laughing and doing the things kids do with friends on Hillside - and all I could do was smile. Your mom was always kind to me with a smile and a laugh, and in those small moments showed compassion that few understood I needed at that time. Her memory is a staple in my mind as I recollect the times we all spent together. There aren’t enough words to express my condolences adequately, but I will keep you all in my prayers as you celebrate her life and mourn her loss. I will pray for solace and strength while holding her memory from my youth in my mind.
