In Memory of Gloria A. Clark

Obituary

Gloria A. Clark, 93, of New Hartford, died on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Lutheran Care.

She was born on July 23, 1927, in Long Island City, NY, a daughter of the late Michael and Augusta Meyer Mancini. She married Malcolm W. Clark in Greenwich Village, NY, in 1952 and he died on July 24, 2015. For several years, she worked as a secretary for Bell Telephone Labs in Manhattan and then in 1952 she started working in the Zoology Department at the University of Connecticut until 1954.

She served as a trustee with the Bowne Street Community Church and enjoyed bird watching with free time.

She is survived by her brothers, Danny Mancini and his wife, Susan and George Mancini; three nieces, Lisa Sue and her husband, Bob and Susan Lori and her husband, Mike and Geralyn Mancini and two great nephews.

The service will be will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
