So sorry to hear about the passing of our friend and tennis brother Fran. He will be missed but not forgotten. Fran was that person who kept us all in good spirits. Everyone in our tennis association loved and respected him. May GOD keep him in peace and may the entire Morelle family be blessed.

Fran Morelle…he was the ‘gold standard’ in father in laws. Truly a ‘hit it out of the park’ guy.
He raised four (4) lovely, smart, unique daughters who continue to make this World a better place… make Utica / New Hartford a better place.
I married his first born, Diane, the greatest joy of my life – it seems the apple / tree story is true – both were Teachers, both spirited, witty, kind, playful individuals. I imagine Fran was the best employee you could wish for Mr. Two Jobs and no complaints. At work & play nurtured friendships with many, many people!
He also cared for the Morelle pets – the strays, the shelter dogs and cats… ones who needed love and attention - bark twice if you want a different channel!
He came into my life when he was turning 70 and something magical came into his life at the same time. Cheryl Ridley who was with Fran ‘til his last breath.
We cherish her for the energy, style, fun, ab adventure she and her wonderful ‘sisterhood’ brought to Fran, to the Morelle clan.
Although Fran’s house backed onto a golf course, tennis was his game, his passion…tanned he looked good in short shorts!
The Yankee’s played a big part in his life so Fran – “Play Ball” …a Season ticket for Life..a great life!
Warmest Adrian vanderKraan

Teresa, Nancy and Jackie – I’m very sorry I couldn’t attend your father’s funeral service. He was a friendly, personable gentlemen, and I always enjoyed my chats with him. Growing up my family’s home was a few houses up from the block from the Morelle family home on St. Agnes Avenue. At one time, I was very friendly with your uncles, Wally and Gilly, and they were always very proud of their athletic older brother. Fran was the last member of a wonderful generation of the Morelle family. Please accept my condolences on his passing. Mike Humphrey

My parents worked with Mr. Morelle at the Chicago Pneumatic in Utica. I met him through his daughter, Teresa , in 1974. He was a such a nice person to me, always smiling and uncompromisingly honest with a wonderful sense of humour. My condolences to all the family, what a wonderful Dad he must have been.

Teresa, Nancy & Jackie, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I remember him as being a very funny, spirited person who really enjoyed life. I will always remember the time that your dad took Teresa & I to see your cousin Joey play a baseball game in Chadwicks. It was a beautiful fall evening & we went to get ice cream afterwards. It was quite a treat for me because my mom didn't have a car and any kind of a 'road trip' was special. I really appreciate that memory among other visits to the Morelle household both on West St. in Utica & on Fairway Dr. in New York Mills. RIP Mr. Morelle!
