Condolences

To the Rodio Family,
I like to express my deepest condolences in your loss. Mr. Rodio had a tremendous effect on my life and he will truly be remembered in my prayers.
He hired me in August 1981 as a Special Education teacher; a job I took with admiration and pride for 36 years. Besides the challenges and rewards from teaching, I met my wife of 30 years who too was a teacher for the UCSD.
Thank you for setting me on a path of enjoyable experiences and challenges. Again my deepest respect and gratitude for your judgement and leadership.

Your dad was truly one of the most accomplished and amazing man I have had the pleasure of knowing since I was a little girl. He always smiled and made anyone he meet, feel like they mattered and could do anything possible. He is in a better place now, however am so sorry for your loss. Keep him in your heart and he will never go away

I just learned of the passing of Mr. Rodio. He was one of my teachers in Conklin School. I will always remember his wonderful smile and how well he treated all of his students. He was one of the best teachers that I ever had. During a very difficult time in my young life he was there for me. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest n peace Mr. Rodio

Dear Carla and family,
I am sorry to read of Fran's passing!
I recall being in the Proctor High School band in the late forties, and enjoyed Fran's company. He was a gentleman.
Lo and behold, after not having seen Fran since High School days, I was assigned to the Band at Fort Dix new Jersey. One day while in the mess hall, who do I see, but Fran Rodeo. It was nice to once again see a friendly face. He greeted me with a great smile and comforting discussion, ( during the Korean War ).
May he rest in peace.

To the entire Rodio family, I would like to offer my deepest condolences on the loss of Fran. I have had the honor of knowing him from the days of playing with the Sal Alberico big band, as the vocalist for more than 7 years. He was always a fun guy to be around with, as well as being a very talented musician, he was a real inspiration for many an up and coming musician. I also remember him with the "No Name band", as he and Dan falatico were the guys that had the audience appeal, and along with the other musicians made it always a fun "Gig". He will now be with the big band mates he shared many a stage with. Again condolences on your loss.

Mr.Rodio was my teacher at Conklng school during Kindergarten & 8 th grade. He always had a smile on his face and impressed all of us kids with his cheerful demeanor. I last saw him in Utica,NY about 30 yrs ago and said its so nice to see you Mr. Rodio and he would say Fran is ok,,,but, back in the 50;s we would never call a teacher or an adult by their first name. Rest in peace my dear teacher
