Edward “Bubba” Evans, 59, of Utica, passed away on September 10, 2021, with the love of his family surrounding his sprite.

Bubba was a gentle giant and loved being around his family. He enjoyed watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steeler play football on Sundays. He was a graduate of Utica Free Academy, where he excelled at football and wrestling. Everyone loved Bubba so much and will miss him dearly.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories; sisters, Evon Green and Betty A. Scott; brother, Willie Boles and a host of nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his mother, Annie Watson and step father, Amos Watson, brother, Dennis J. Evans and sisters, Emma J. Evans and Jeanette McCovey.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to all those who have extended their sympathy during this time of grief.

The funeral will be on Friday at 11:00 at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremations Services, 1123 Court St. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hour will be from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the funeral.
