Condolences

“Grandma Dawn” as she was known to us, always talked of the “positives” of education and the love she had for teaching children. Many years ago she would talk of how great of a teacher I would be if I followed my dreams, and I have been in the classroom now going on 11 years. Just recently I texted her pictures of her “most recent” great-grandson, and she responded with a string of happy and silly emojis. She will be missed, but will be happily reunited with “Grandpa Bob”

thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. Mrs. Company was my favorite elementary school teacher in 1973. Never forgotten her kindness. RIP

Always hard to lose a parent. Sounds like your Mom lived a full life. Hugs to the whole family.

I am sorry to hear about Dawn's passing away. I had her as my third grade teacher and enjoyed it a lot. My dad taught at MVCC with George Scala and they were friends as well. May Dawn rest in peace.
