It has taken me some time to know exactly what to write. I have some really great memories of Darryl. As one of my youth leaders he had a major impact in my life and one of the reason I joined the USAF. We had many great adventures camping, hiking, racing minvans. I also remember his love of muscle cars and motorcycles. He once told me he was living vicariously through me when I went to visit him on on my motorcycle when I was home on leave. We also shared our tastes in music and I can remember his love of the bass guitar and of the band Boston. I had tried to meet up with him when he was living in NY but sadly it never worked out. I had also hoped that he would have a chance to come visit me in England and we could visit some of his old stomping ground. I miss you Darryl and I look forward to meeting with you again.

Mr. & Mrs. Adams & Jeff,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Darryl's passing. I have such wonderful childhood memories of him, especially his talent in playing the piano! The Cavalier family was always very fond of Darryl. Know that he is now at peace in heaven among many friends who have passed before him. God Bless you all. You are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to for your loss with Darryl. He was a wonderful friend through the years. I had the privilege to work with him in Atlanta with Delta, and hanging out with him and his family there. Always a good time as we talk about the shenanigans that were done. So many of us that went camping together, racing our minivans, swimming in lakes and more. We kept touch throughout the years on messenger and facebook. Still laughing and talking. We are better for having had Darryl in our lives. I know he is rejoicing in the peace he has now, and with those that have gone before.
