Condolences

I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I went to grad school with Dan in the late '90s, and I have many fond memories of hanging out, throwing darts, and talking about anthropology over a couple of Labatts. Dan was a great listener who could always cheer you up and gave straight-forward, no-nonsense advice - often what you needed to hear even when it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Yet he never stopped trying to make you laugh or smile. Everyone liked Dan because Dan was easy to like. I know he will be missed by many.

Dear Uncle Norm, Maureen, and family...we are so incredibly sad to learn that we've lost Dan. He was so kind and warm and welcoming as I joined the family. What a great guy, and an enormous loss for our whole family. We send you all our love and sympathy at this difficult time. You, and Dan, are all in our hearts.
