D. Ardelle Tuckerman

I met Ardelle at Utica National in 1978 and we immediately became friends. As years went by, we allways kept in touch. We met whenever our full calendars allowed(hers was always filled more with her many affiliations, meetings and friends). I will miss our impromptu lunches and gift exchanges for X-Mas and birthdays. We kept in contact at least once a week.
We were supportive throughout our cancer diagnoses.
When I wasn't able to get in touch with her, I checked the Internet and found she was deceased. I was, and still am, devastated. She was a part of the lives of so many people - caring. giving, helpful, supportive.
Say hello to Charlie and Norma for me.
RIP, my friend.
I love you always,
Jean R.

I thought of Ardelle on Friday...a beautiful day that would have prompt her to collect my Mom (Betty Nicholson) and as many other friends as she could and go for a ride...maybe get something to eat...and find a spot to have ice cream! She will be greatly missed and I am sorry I didn't have a chance to talk to her in recent days. RIP Ardelle...say Hi to Charlie and Norma Lee for us!

I knew Ardelle during my years at Utica National. She was always pleasant and easy-going. I'm glad I knew her and she will always be a part of my Utica National memories.

Ardelle was a dear friend for many years. Our mothers were girlhood friends as were we though our mothers. We kept in touch through the years and got together now and then both in New Hartford and in New York City. She will be missed.

I will miss my dear friend very much. We had so many long chats during these long months when we couldn't get together. Can hardly believe we talked Friday and she's gone Tuesday. She's with her family now. I will miss my pew mate when we return to church. We sat together for many years and worked on the church history.

I was a friend of Charlie and Norma. Many times Charlie, Ardelle and I, would have lunch together. Now, Ardelle is again with her sister and Charlie. RIP Ardelle.

Ardelle and I grew up around the corner from each other and met via Betty Jones. I often would run into her in the village during the last 10 years and found she had not changed. I am enriched from having known her these last 60+ years.
