Obituary

Christopher Edwin Miller, 65 of Utica passed away suddenly on March 23, 2021 at St Elizabeth's hospital.

He was born in Charleston West Virginia on October 13, 1955 to Jack and Loretta Miller.

He graduated with honors from West Virginia State College Institute in May 1977 with a Bachelors in Psychology. Christopher married his wife Judy on October 17 1986 at First Presbyterian church in Utica. He worked at Upstate Cerebral Palsy as a Program Services Specialist. A man dedicated to his work where he loved interacting with the children who live there. Christopher was an Elder at First Presbyterian church where he and his family were members.

He was a man of many hobbies. Christopher was rarely seen without a book with him. He also thoroughly enjoyed writing. Be it short stories, song lyrics or bands names, many pieces of paper around his home display his talents and fruits of his labor. However the single hobby that probably best defines Christopher is his ability and love for playing bass guitar. He had been a member of several bands throughout his lifetime, and played at several church functions.

He is survived by his beloved wife Judy, his three children son Tyson and daughters Jackie and Amelia, and his sister Elizabeth. 

Christopher was a warm and charitable man. Dedicated to his work and to his family. A man with a wonderful sense of humor and a hearty laugh that all who have heard it will miss dearly.
