My sincere sympathy is with Chiquita's family. I worked with her at Faxton and truly admired the compassionate care she gave her patients. When Stan & Chiquita would head out for a NASCAR race, she would return with #3 souvenir for me. I treasure those gifts and memories of Chiquita. God rest her soul and bring comfort and peace to you.

Chiquita was an unforgettable person, not only because she had a unique name, but she also possessed an unforgettable personality! From the moment I met her, her energy, kindness, joy and readiness to embrace life was evident. She and her husband loved to travel; I was never sure where they were at any given time. It was not uncommon to hear that they traveled from New Hartford to Massachusetts for a hamburger! My husband Jerry and I were blessed to have joined the Lebiedniks on many traveling adventures in which Chiquita would entertain us for hours by sharing stories and recalling incredible details of her life experiences. The most interesting aspect of traveling with her was the fact that no matter where we were, there was always someone who would recognize her. I concluded that due to her being an incredible nurse, we would invariably run into her former patients. However, it appeared that no matter the reason, people would recognize Chiquita; she made an incredible impression on anyone whose life she touched! I had the greatest respect and admiration for Chiquita; she gave her best in every role in her life, whether it be wife, mother, daugher, sister, nurse, business owner, friend. She had an exceptional work ethic, as well as a caring and loving nature. Additionally, she knew how to make a deal; I enjoyed seeing her in action as she and Stan negotiated upgrades of their recreational vehicle purchases from travel trailer, to a C-class to a full-blown motor home that was literally a house on wheels! I will never forget Chiquita; I am a better person for having known her .

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Chiquita for a few years on the 3-11 shift at Faxton. We always had a great time. (when we weren't working on a case) Chiquita was a wonderful, caring nurse; very smart, and funny, too. RIP Chiquita
