Condolences

I knew Kit and her family when she and I were kids and her parents owned the Grove Hotel on Oneida Street in Chadwicks. We were the best of friends, getting into all kinds of trouble! Every night after dinner, we would play with the other neighborhood kids. I was very sad when she moved up to the Ryan home on Elm Street and subsequently to Utica - it seemed miles away. But, we kept in touch for a few years and I visited her there a few times when her dad was still alive. We eventually lost touch and for some reason, at this moment, I was thinking of her and looked on the Internet to see if I could find her address. Her recent obituary is what I found. Rest in peace, old friend. You and your family were wonderful neighbors and the nicest people around.
