Obituary

Carolyn N. Magyar, 86, of New Hartford, died on Friday, November 25, 2022, at her home.

She was born on February 18, 1936, in Troy, NY and graduated from New Hartford Central Schools. At one time, she was married to John Magyar and lived in Las Vegas.

Carolyn was a cashier for various local grocery stories and most recently worked in the produce department at Hannaford Supermarkets on Commercial Drive in New Hartford. She was a supporter of Feed Our Vets and Anita’s Stevens Swan Humane Society.

She is survived by her children, Annette Magyar and her partner, James and Andrew Magyar and his wife, Bonita; grandchildren, Russell Corn, Ryan Corn, Andrew Corn and Marquis Magyar; several great grandchildren; additional family members Sal Trimboli, Joyce Monaco and Walt Curtis

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Hospice and Palliative Care for the help and comfort given to Carolyn.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, New Hartford.
