I send my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Mr. Bohdan Rabij, my junior high school social studies teacher at Clinton Central School, year 1967 to 1968. At that very young and immature (and ignorant) age, I and my schoolmates often made fun of Mr. Rabij for his apparent "foreign" accent and origin. But he took it lightly and with benevolent consideration. I and friends were too young to understand and contemplate the existing situation, as well as Mr. Rabij's difficult and interesting life story.

Would there today be more committed teachers like Mr. Bohdan Rabij!

Dear Myron and Christine,
Our deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family.
It is hard to put into words how brilliant our Uncle Bohdan was. He was the warmest, kindest, talented and genuine person with a heart of gold. We always felt his love for the whole family. He was a radiant soul who touched the life of so many.
Uncle Bohdan will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace, in heaven.

Though not mentioned , Mr. Rabij taught Social Studies for one year in Oriskany Falls , NY before teaching at Clinton. I was privileged to be his student . We shared a love of Social Studies. While volunteering at the Presbyterian Home , I met Mr . Rabij years later . This was a few months before the pandemic , but it was great to see him again . May he rest in peace .

Coach Rabij was truly a special person. I was fortunate to have played soccer for him for my 4 years of high school and also had him for a social studies teacher. When I look back at my high school days Coach is always in my mind and in my conversations. The world truly was a better place because of Coach Rabij and all of those that were fortunate enough to have known him will agree. Rest in peace and thank you for being such a positive influence in my life.
