We were very sorry to hear of Bud's passing. Kathy's aunt, Catharine Scott , had worked for Bud and George beginning at the coal company and continuing until she retired from the "new" building. She always spoke so well of them and enjoyed her "discussions" with them -- some may refer to them as arguments, but she loved that and them!
Doug and I met Bud at Swan Bay restaurant one Friday before it was torn down and had a very nice talk with him. Since Doug feels about The River as Bud did they had a great talk.
We are glad that your family has all the memories, especially of The River, to bolster you at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Mike, Jeannie, Bobby, John and your families, Karen and I send you our condolences for your loss. These past few days I've been remembering your Father and his quiet humor. Your parents were my Godparents and were very kind to me. I'll always remember those fun-filled summer days on the river. Thanks for the memories. Love, Bobby and Karen Ambose

I remember Mr. Bannigan coming into Piggy Pat's BBQ always with a big small and friendly hand shake. He and my Dad both were B-24 bombardiers/navigators
flying out of Italy in 1944. I'm sure my Dad is greeting your Dad up in heaven with big Irish smiles all around.
God bless them both. Pat McCann
