Dear Family, My grandmother, Clara Breckel, a retired police matron, always needed to be busy so she began babysitting after retirement. (I think she was popular with kids for her kindness and good cooking, and with their parents because she would look for things to do like ironing.)
Anne, along with her siblings were among her many charges. I recall her commenting upon how sweet a baby Anne was even after trips with her parents who were seeking help for her. My grandmother thought of Anne as one of God’s little angels who came along to teach us to be good caregivers and grateful that we could fulfill that role.
You are all to be commended for the years and years of love and caregiving you gave so willingly to Anne.

I remember when I was a young teen meeting Anne and witnessing her delight with everything. She was a gift from God.
