Dear Mrs. Schulz, Susan and the entire family,

Mike and I are very sorry to hear of your loss.
We know you must miss Al terribly and we pray you will find the refuge of God's love as a great comfort now and in the days ahead.
I have good memories of Mr. Schultz from my childhood -- particularly my trips with my mother to the meat market. I would run around the store while my mother placed her order and Mr. Schultz would always take the time to smile and say hi to me.
You were friends of my parents as I was growing up and I just want to acknowledge and thank you for being their friends and so kind to all the McEvoys
throughout the years.
God bless you all.
Love,

- Michael and Paula (McEvoy) Fitzgerald

So sorry to hear of Al's passing and also sorry we missed the calling hours.
Al was a wonderful, kind man. We were proud to know him and Howard looks back fondly to their "bowling" days. Good times as Symeon's at the end of the season too. Please know we send our very best to your entire family.

Howard and Janet Heffron

What adventures my Dad Mike O’ Toole had with your Dad! From their younger years with their trips to Myrtle Beach as a foursome (and the car would always break down) to the later years when our Dads played in the Price Chopper golf league , my Dad so enjoyed their fun times together. Your Dad was such a kind and fun guy to be around. My deepest condolences to your Mom and whole family.

Uncle Al (“Uncle Ferdie) was always fun to be around. I have lots of memories of times spent at “camp” with him, Ruth, and all of KC’s cousins. He was a kind, funny, special guy who will never be forgotten.

Ruth and family: Al and all his family were part of the Denn family for how many years? I remember when you would come to the store and I could tell then that there was a spark. I remember all of them: Gib, Al, Norma, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fisher, Jim Martin, Frank Toomey, Mrs. Davies. An incident that stands out is when I had a date after dancing school in the forties there wasn;t a dime in the house. My mother wrote a note to Norma asking her to give me five dolllars for my big date and put it on the bill, which she promptly did with no questions. Great memories of all the Schulz family and of you as a young girl working at gift store on Genesee St. You are all in my prayers at this time of loss and let;s be thankful for all the good memories. Peace and love to all, Fr. Jim Denn, CSC
