Albert L. Pagani, 82, of Clinton died December 5, 2018 at Lutheran Care.

He was born in 1936 in New York City, son of the late Alexander and Anne Pagani. He was a graduate of the U S Naval Academy, Class of 1957.

Albert served in the US Air Force from 1958-1985 retiring with the rank of Colonel. He served as Manager of Airlift Saigon, Vietnam, 1968-69; Chief of Special Missions at Scott AFB, Il. From 1969-74; Commander of Tactical Airlift Group USAF Europe at Mildenhall, England, 1974-76; Deputy Base Commander at Rhein Main Air Force Base, Frankfurt, Germany, 1976-78; Chief of Airlift Management, USAF Military Airlift Command, Scott AFB, IL, 1978-81; Director of Technical Plans and Concepts, 1981, Director of Command and Control, 1982-85.

His honors include the Decorated Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star. His association memberships included the Order of Daedalians, the Society of Logistics Engineers, Air Force Association, and the Armed Forces Command. His avocations were woodworking, neurolinguistics, and a volunteer senior executive consulting.

He attended St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford.

Albert is survived by his daughters Penni Tidwell of VA and Deborah Pagani of Clinton. He was predeceased by his wife Beverly and his son Michael.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park, with Military Honors. There are no calling hours.
