Condolences

Rest in peace, Uncle Bill. Thank you for introducing me to Manhattans, my now-favorite cocktail! Both my parents came from large families, so I had a lot of uncles, but you were one of my favorites. I found you to be very interesting and a genuinely nice person. I would describe you as a "quiet gentleman". My thoughts go out to your family.

I now know where my middle name came from. Alan. My son's middle name is Alan also. So Uncle Bill lives on, if only in name.
I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to Aunt Wynema, and to you, Brenda and Tom.
I will always remember Uncle Bill as a very intelligent and disciplined person. We had a good conversation at my mother's memorial. I always enjoyed your family's company. Holidays, summer stayovers... The memories will always be.
So long, Uncle Bill.
